From carrying surf boards down to the beach in California, to chugging across a baking hot Australia, Volkswagens long serving rear engined van became a motoring hero to generations of young carefree drivers; It was introduced in 1950 as the transporter van but soon VW had the bright idea of giving it windows and seats in the back, making it the ideal mobile changing room or motor home.

Now you can build your own VW transporter (scale model of course) from scratch, officially licensed by Haynes, easy to follow step by step instructions are included, to help you construct and complete your very own transporter.

The model includes a fully detailed engine and a glossy red and white metal body shell, the completed model measures approx 16cm long.

Use glue to fix (not included) and small screw driver for screws (included), not suitable for children under 3 years.
